ATTEMPTING TO GO HOME
this is the termite situation
we have been keeping an eye on the place, our adverse Docs are tight, we have a neat letter from the lawyer glued to our door explaining our rights.
the main right we have is that since i have lived at termite for over a years, LA state law says i have corporeal possession of the property and the right to protect my living space from strangers and i can say who can and cant come in and even bring tresspassing charges on people. HOWEVER this law is not enought to protect us completely. if the cops or and outside party really disliked us they could drag us in to court for the next two years and make our lives really fucking suck. so our rights only protect us from getting charges put on us. keeping termite means being good kids who dont cause any problems.
i have abunch of kids who want to move back in and be long term. a few of them can get a little arrogant when they're drunk. i heart the lollyfucks but i'm being like DONT PISS OF THE NEIGHBOURS AND DONT BE DRUNK ON PORCH. over and over again untill i feel like a complety crazy bitch. but i'm trying to keep my house i put a million hours of work in to renovating and paperworking. every crappy thing i own is in that house. i like having tools clothes and books.
i want kids to stay there, be my friends and drink and be sillystupid with me. i really hope my lollyfucks can handle this.
i havent met with the cops yet but i'm supposed to go befriend capt k of 5th district tommorrow morning. i also need to meet the guard captain. i dont need them to care about us. i just need them to know who i am so i can holler at them if i wind up in their jail.
me, o., f., and j. are moving back in this week (wednessday)... im staying at harrison's/pearl street to unwind untill after i meet with the police captin.
all the above mentioned housemates now carry papers of their rights, lawyers contact info and MUTHER FUCKING LEASES THAT I MADE THEM !!!
they all lease rooms in termite for $1 a month. so far only fungus actually paid up and all he had was 80 cents and a nice button he found. i should remeber to give everyone rent receipts.

SCENARIO ONE
captain k. adores us, the city appologizes and gives us the house and a free hummer, ray nagin and capt k bake us pies and come over and drink mad dog on the porch and we all have a cuddle puddle.
SCENARIO TWO
we be a covert squat and keep our shit clean and everybuddy forgets about us and were happy but way fucking quieter.
SCENARIO 3
the cops fuck with us but back off after we show them all our paperwork and name drop capt k and our lawyer. the cops sort of get mad when i mention lawyers tho. at the origional BBQ incident the cops were mad at me for calling my lawyer and weren't going to let me... untill i claimed that i was calling a freind with a truck to help me move.
SCENARIO 4
we go to jail or almost go to jail. the lawyer springs us. we stay away from the house until may 5th (the adverse poss is currently in a 60 day waiting period to allow for appeals from the prev owner.) when we get affadavit of taking corporeal possession. then try again.
SCENARIO 5
I GO TO JAIL and/or face long court battle. i'm stuck out of my house untill after the courts decide shit. i hide all my crap at my freinds house and donate my tools to miss rockaway. i get the hell out of nawlins for the summer and try to secure my house in the courts.
i'm trying to discourage too many kids from moving back cuz we have to be quiet and clean untill we establish some security. termite is not a good place for casual crashers untill we get secure. no lollyfuck BBQs untill at least may5th. and after that they have to be in the back yard.
WORST CASE SCEANARIO
i loose the house, i owe sombuddy money for bailing me out of jail, i downsize so everything i own fits in a few packs or trunks. loan my stuff to kids, live in my freinds shack untill may, then i go work on the boat all summer. play on trains. go to summer parties across the country. wander arround. I want termite to be my home base were i can have a little stability to have tools and a sewing machine and hide my treasure... but i cant get it secure i'll just wander a while and do other stuff.
i'm happy overall.
