( WHILE ON THE SUBJECT OF PITT CITY, THIS IS KINDOM HALL. KING HALL BAPTIST WAS A GIANT 5 FLOOR MEETING PLACE ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF PITTCITY WHILE YOUR WALKING THROUGH THE TREES ANS LOST STAIRCASES TO BEELEN. kingdom was attractive to punks and crackheads as a place to crash or party or uban explore or just hide out and recluse. it burned in 005 but i still managed to spend a night there when i was in pitt back in february... )
kingdom hall, like everything in pitt, is on a dementedly slopped hill. the actualy theater size hall is on the 4rth floor that you walk right in to from the east. ounce in the building you have to go down through 2 floors of offices and another floor of kitchen before you emerge in the neighbourhood 30 feet below where you came in. kid have warned me that its ok to be on the top side but if you go to the nrighbourhood at the bottom your risking getting killed by the people who live down there... a cresent of highland surrond this valley of houses and thats were the notorious baseball diamond in the middle of nowhere exists for crack heads to live in. like wise the baseball diamond is "safe" providing you are used to crack heads, but you dont want to head west in to the houses. the only way out of here is east to beelen or south to fifth/forbes which you follow back to central pitt city.
or so a kid told me.. i walked completely ignorantly through that valley and i was fine. it was at 5am tho.
